Rihanna Takes a Risk

Rihanna hits the red carpet for the first time in months, clad in a smoking hot Dolce & Gabbana ensemble. The striking singer showed up in a suit (bow tie included) and it is now being speculated that she may be a lesbian. Glory to the lesbians everywhere if she is, but at this point i doubt it. It's quite unfortunate that after having her very public ordeal with abuse that people are worrying about what the young woman is wearing. Am i the only person who is happy to see her out and about?

Though i could do without the sleeves, girly looks good! It's this sort of scrutiny that drives these stars to make actual bad decisions. Why cant we just leave them alone? I'm definitely rooting for Rihanna and look forward to see her working again, much like my on again/ off again pretend girlfriend, Ms. Lindsay Lohan.

Other stars who have recently had their sexualities questioned have been P!nk, Jennifer Aniston, and Katy Perry.

Katy Perry is gay for play and pay, so we're going to move right along from her. Pink has had these rumors surround her before when a photo of her surfaced a couple years back. In this photo she was caught making out with an Actress from one of the newer Terminator movies (or show?). Pink says she's not, and she loves the gays (which is why we all love her!). And if she were she would be very much out and proud. Now kissing a girl doesn't make you gay.However Kissing a girl, liking it and doing it over and over again does. And no matter what we have to realize no matter how many girls you kiss and like, you are and should be respected for what you identify as. So P!nk in my book, is indeed, straight.

Sapphic Songtress Steals the Show

Im always on the prowl for lesbian talent of any sort. And it seems that this time i've gotten awfully lucky. I don't how familar everyone is with the process of trying to become a signed musician, but we all know almost nothing is made easier by being a lesbian woman of color. Sapphic Songtress, Mallorie is trying to take this industry by storm despite the unlikely odds put in to play by bigotry and intolerance. She tackles the issues in her new single ""One Love" Which happens to be my personal favorite. And though she doesn't just want to be tagged and typed as the token butch lesbian, shes not to shy to tell you what she desires like in single "Skin Deep". Her willingness to be relatable to audeinces of all types is just downright refreshing! You can see and learn to except a new take on lesbianism and love alike, and you can also turn down the lights and light some candles with songs like "Make it Rain" playing softly in the background. She also does one heck of a cover as well.


This interview just goes to show that talent is not the first thing that these "big wigs" look for! Image will continue to be everything in this cesspool of shallow we call home. If You're not willing to conform, your journey looks like a long one. But if you stay true to who you are, you're journey proves fruitful and rewarding. So im looking around the 'net and i find that i have just not been keeping up with my duties! Shame on me! For the record I must announce that i havent gone far! Getting my personal life together, and doing some mighty research has kept a girl quite busy! I hope that you all still will provide the same support upon my official return to podcasting. I have to pay bills for podcasting also and since space is limited i will have to upgrade to better storage. But fear not, because it will be done! Is it me or is the gaydar going off like mad!

It's horrible when we let HollowWood and it's elite brainwash us with thier colorful charatcers. We see these actors in movies and believe that's who they really are. Johnny Depp isn't really a pirate, Rose Rollins doesnt really fight in the war, Kate Moenning isnt really a womanizing rogue (or is she?) And Hilary Swank isnt a butch lesbian?. . .



You take what you like from this video, my job is only to bring you the news! I mean closely watching this vid, she's just too good at being butch, playing butch and just plain ole coming off as butch! The femme roles dont work as well for her, but she's a killer butch! It's right before our eyes.

Now just because she's good at playing butch, because it's her job, does that make her a card-carrying dyke? No, but im starting to get suspicious! I mean Im good at my job but damn, when she's not in character she still seems to be well who seh plays.

Her awesome entrance Now good character actors find there niche in emulating which ever person they are said to play. (Jamie Foxx/ Ray Charles, Jennifer Lopez/ Selena, Charlize Theron/ Aileen Wournos). This point goes to No Homo.

Her Haircut Swank rocks a butch pixie cut all too well. Come on if there were a such thing as classic lesbian hair this would so be it. I mean after she's done shooting, There's hair extensions right? This point goes to So Homo!

Love Scene Now she's a great actress, So her inability to deliver completely in a love scene with a man is highly questionable. Yet She is awesome with women. (Chole Sevigny "Boys Don't Cry) This point goes to Incredibly Homo!

PuSSY LiQUOR

Now before i go into this post, let me start by saying "PUSSY LIQUOR" is originally a Rob Zombie song. Urban dictionary defines it as "the juices that excrete from the walls of a woman's vagina when excited" and also as "the act of placing a small bottle of liquor in a woman's vagina and drinking from it."

I'll clear the air by saying i just want to explore the topic of lesbians, sex and alcohol.

Now disclaimer aside, Ill shall begin.

Maybe it's my age, my area, or just my place in the lesbian subculture, But with extensive research (lies BTW) i find that lesbians like to get smashed. I mean Shit-faced, toilet-hugging, stranger-humping, pole-dancing, hang over having monsters. . .and than have sex of course. Am i over analyzing the co-relation? Or am i truly on to something. I find that the ladies seem a lot more entertaining pumped full of liquid courage. Oh and i too am guilty of drinking and acting a damn fool, so maybe i speak through my beer goggles. When i drink though it's not to build up the courage to talk to a beautiful young lady, i for one prefer to make a fool of my self sober, so as to kick myself in the ass later.

I was recently chatting with a listener and we spoke about how even some straight girls down a couple "tini's and began to make out with each other. These girls hold strongly to their heterosexuality the next morning, yet continue to engage in this behavior over and over again. Now with lesbians we do the same thing. But what's the deal with these women? Frisky after whiskey. . .should we consider these women to be homosexual? Bi-curious? What's the deal? They could totally be in denial or sincerely having a good time. It's difficult to decipher when after the deed is done the attitude towards it is so nonchalant. I don't know whether to be excited or disgusted at these women who cradle that gay area of sexuality. As you can tell i haven't fully organized y thoughts on this subject but i intend to do so. . .

we have something to look forward too. The L word is going to conclude

What?! My sentiments too. But the upside is that clever Ilene Chaiken
landed a Spinoff Series with ShoTime. But keep your panties on, we don't
know who the hell is going to land the spinoff series which brings us to
. . .

Best Lesbian Mystery
So with the announcement of the L word spinoff, we are informed that one
of the original Cast Members will be offered the role, And Supposedly
she doesn't know that it her yet. Another wrench, only "one" Cast member
is supposedly goin to be picked! Hmm, this seems awfully suspect. Does
this mean no TiBette? Shenny? Sharmen? TaLice? Should we exclude all who
are coupled? Does the original cast include Pam Grier? Jennifer Beals
has a toddler. Leisha Hailey has a band. These would be the best
prospects right? But what if Shane and Jenny hook up? That puts them out
of the running right? And why don't they give Sweet Rose her own
series? Best.Lesbian.Mystery!

Holy Sequins! Pat Field is Queer!

So, I got the inkling the blog about my favorite type of lesbian, the femme
and im doing an image search and BOOM there's a photo of stylist to the stars Patricia Field! Now im not the type who dwells on the sexuality of every out celebrity. I do have my favorite celesbians. Doesn't matter what Ms.Field likes in her bed, shes iconic regardless. My thing is lesbians are not widely associated with being fashionable. But,I do believe a certain red head has broken that mode!

Her boutique is of course super gay friendly! It's a drag queens paradise, a princesses refuge, and a fashion junkie's playhouse. You dont do fashion here in New York without doing Patricia Field's boutique! Myself, I keep it simple by browsing accesories, and perusing her vintage wares, but her gowns and garments are more than worth a peek!

Joker's Wild

OK, OK, so I'm no movie critic. Yadda Yadda Ya! i was a supporter of Heath Ledger. Now this is suppose to be a blog for lesbians by a lesbian. So ladies I'm sorry if this is no interest to you. Heath Ledger is gay friendly so we gain something!

Now The Dark Knight premiered Friday here in New York and frankly I thought it was worth the fuss. First issue: is Heath Ledger going to be able to pull off the maniacal Joker? Yes! In anticipation, we all checked the web and peeped the previews and I doubt that fans of both the actor and the Batman Comic & franchise were disappointed. We all ran to the theaters because we love batman, we love superheroes, we love Heath Ledger, we wanted to see if Ledger was better than Nicholson, or we wanted to see "the dead guys" last completed work.

The outcome: I'd say Ledger rocks my face off! I forgot who was behind the mask! Not to slight King Eerie himself, Jack Nicholson. To this day I can barely watch Nicholson in anything without getting the chills! The guys just spooky, No? I believe that ledger to very little from Nicholson's joker, and that he manifested a character of which no one believed capable. I mean this is the gay cowboy right? Listen, I knew when he played that damn cowboy that he was way bigger than his roles in such movies like Ten Things I Hate About You. Any way he's an actor who did his job well!
